Unlike newspaper articles, the poems in this book do not keep you informed about the world around you; unlike slogans in commercials, they can't sell shampoo or cars;and unlike motivational books, they don't set OUt tO help you improve yourself. Instead I put my joy and sorrow.hope and despair, doubts and bellying, courage and fear into carefully trimmed words, and the result is this humblegarden of feelings and thoughts where I was born, for a second time, thrive, and found the light holding in the dark clouds that obscured, temporarily, the bright sun.
