This book approaches the subject of mergers and acquisitions(MA)primarily from a foreign acquirers perspective,and focuses on MA activities carried out by foreign investors and domestic Chinese enterprises in Chinas mainland.As a result,we will deliberately exclude those China-related MA deals conducted and concluded offshore in such jurisdictions as Hong Kong.
