《我来自东：东亚艺术收藏在西方的建立（1842－1930）》是为配合同名图书展览出版的图录，该书含有两篇学术专论，对东亚艺术与文化收藏在西方的建立与发展进行了详细地论述与分析。并收录了展览展出的主要珍本书籍，涵盖了于1842年开始至20世纪中期的西方关于东方艺术研究的重要著作和展览拍卖图录，大体可反映19至20世纪以来东亚收藏在西方建立的历史，以及东亚收藏在理念上的转变。所有书籍皆来自浙江大学图书馆的新获收藏。本书对每本收录的书籍配以详细内容介绍及精美的图书封面、内页照片。 The West Discovers East Asian Art is published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same title. It contains two essays, explaining in detail the setting up and development of collections of East Asian art and culture in the West. The book also includes entries of the rare books displayed in the exhibition, covering many important works (including exhibition and auction catalogues) on the study of East Asian art from 1842 to the middle of the 20th century in the West. These books, all of which are from the new acquisitions of the Zhejiang University Library, have reflected the history of collecting East Asian art in the West and the ideological change during the process over a century. Each book is given a detailed description along with exquisite illustrations of the cover and contents.
